Staff Meeting: The agenda for this Wednesday’s staff meeting will host members of the Growing Together team, Human Resources, and Montessori trainers from the Center for Montessori Teacher Education.

Reminder-DPS Appliance, Space Heater, and Electrical Guidelines Effective April 1st, 2023, the DPS community is expected to follow these guidelines regarding appliances and electrical components in all schools and central office departments. For microwaves meeting standard, please label ‘Approved’ in a visible location on front or top of unit (For example, place strip of masking tape on top corner and write with Sharpie ‘Approved.’) Please plan to have removed the following by start of Spring Break: Mini-refrigerators, microwaves (not meeting standard), toasters, toaster ovens, or hotplates. If you have a refrigerator in a space to support a personal accommodation, please follow up with Dr. Hogans.

DPS Teacher Working Conditions (TWC) Survey (certified school staff) AND Employee Engagement Survey (classified/district staff) – March 1st through April 6th is currently underway. Thank you for those of you who have completed the survey! If you have not yet done so, please complete. If you need support, please consult Dr. Hogans. See current response rates below. The goal is 90%.

Good evening Beavers! This is Ms. Moose for Principal Hogans with some notes for this last week before Spring Break.

Thank you to all who were able to come out to Science Night last week. It proved to be a fun and engaging event.

Thanks also for your help with your student with the PTO Penny Wars fundraiser. This week we’ll learn which grade level beats out the others.

The 7th and 8th grade piano class and the 6th-8th grade chorus will be presenting their spring concert on Wednesday, March 22. Chorus students should wear black and white. Piano students should report to the Piano Lab at 6:30pm. Chorus students should report to the gym at 6:30pm. The show will begin at 7pm. The concert is free and open to the public! See you there!
