FBB #21

The River Way, Every Day!

Updates for the week of January 16, 2023

Put First Things First –

Habit 4: Think Win-Win- people work effectively and efficiently with others to achieve optimal results. Competitive and selfish behaviors  produce win-lose or even lose-lose outcomes. A win-win mentality is a balancing act between courage and consideration that ensures true collaboration taking place in all conflicts.

Sunday Bulletin:

Good evening Beavers! This is Ms. Moose for Principal Hogans with some notes for this week.

  • Thank you for those of you able to come out to our PTO meeting last Monday. Your support and partnership is very much appreciated. We also are grateful for the staff lunch provided on Wednesday. We appreciate the work of our PTO in supporting our students!

  • There will be no school on Monday and Tuesday of this week due to the holiday and teacher workday. School will resume on Wednesday, January 18.

  • In last week’s email update from Dr. Hogans, he shared that Little River is slated to begin a Robotics Saturday Academy beginning in February for students in grades 4-8. Look for registration information this week. The Little River Robotics Academy will operate through March 18.

  • One last item, for those who are impacted by the adjustment to car-rider lane access, we thank you for your patience. Little River will have its roof replaced over the next few months and part of the parking lot is being used for staging of materials. We appreciate your cooperation!

That is all for now. And remember: after replanting our seeds in Beaver Nation, Little River leaders are ready to blossom!
