The River Way, Every Day!
Updates for the week of January 23, 2023
Habit 4: Think Win-Win- people work effectively and efficiently with others to achieve optimal results. Competitive and selfish behaviors produce win-lose or even lose-lose outcomes. A win-win mentality is a balancing act between courage and consideration that ensures true collaboration taking place in all conflicts.

Declaration of Intent In an effort to engage in strategic staffing for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year, DPS will require staff to complete a Declaration of Intent process for the district, as mentioned in previous FBB. The Declaration of Intent is projected to be live from January 23, 2023 until February 10, 2023. All staff members should complete the survey; including those who are currently on a leave of absence. Employees should designate their intent; for example, to remain in their current position, resign, transfer, or, if they are undecided. Staff will also be able to share any projected leave of absence dates.
