Equity 501 – Advancing #BlackandLatinXcellence in DPS -Staff Meeting, November 16, 2:45-3:30, Zoom.

DPS Wellness Fair-November 20-Please see the Wellness Fair Flyer in (English) and (Spanish). What it’s about: A day of workshops and experiences to practice and learn about wellness and mental health for yourself and/or for students. Workshops range from Laugh Yoga to Suicide Prevention to LGBTQIA+ Wellness. This event is ideal for all ages and across all identities, allowing for intergenerational learning. There will also be a community organization fair where you can connect with local Durham orgs, opportunities to engage with the community, and more. Click here to register for the event

Montessori Study Group/Growing Together-We had a great visit to Morehead on November 8. There will be a coordinated visit to Watts after the New Year during the instructional day to further build on Montessori awareness. Look for more information soon.
