  • Thank you to those of you who were able to come out to the PTO meeting this past week. Your support is much appreciated.
  • The PTO is celebrating Little River Teachers and Staff next week for Teacher/Staff Appreciation. The PTO will provide special Wizard of Oz treats for staff everyday next week and encourages your family to celebrate your child’s teacher and staff as well. See the recent email from PTO for some ideas for your child to complete to help us celebrate our teachers and staff!
  • For students in EOG tested grades, please note that our support instruction may necessitate temporary changes to student schedules, particularly for middle grades students, to help prepare students for their upcoming End-of-Grade Tests in their classes.
  • Lastly, we thank Book Harvest for the recent installation of the Little River Book Box–a colorful, outdoor free book access hub placed at the front of the school. Book Boxes are filled with dozens of books in English and Spanish that children of all ages can freely take home to build their own home libraries.
That is all for now. Please be reminded that Student Yearbook Sales are also underway. Yearbook sales are online and will end on 5/17. And remember: after replanting our seeds in Beaver Nation, Little River leaders are ready to blossom!
